The silhouette is isolated from an Antoine Watteau painting - French 18th century painter. Watteau was passionate about nature and theatre, and most of his paintings include persons in landscapes. The sculpture is installed in a private garden. Because of the surroundings reflection in the Poli Mirror material, it oscillates between appearance/disappearance, presence/absence: a tribute to Watteau’s paintings subtle delicateness and staging.
